Estirando el chicle is a comedy podcast that arises from Victoria and Carolina's need to rage about all the things that outrage them.
The challenge
The team of Stretching the Chewing Gum was looking for a website capable of reflecting everything their brand stands for: humor, freshness and connection with their huge community. The project had to bring together in the same space their podcast, theater tour, merchandising and collaborations with brands, while maintaining a solid and easily expandable visual identity.
In addition, one of the main technical challenges was to prepare the server infrastructure to support the massive traffic peaks during the launches of each show, when thousands of people simultaneously accessed the website to get tickets.
The solution
We create a website in WordPress that combines performance, flexibility and a visual experience consistent with the spirit of the program. The modular structure makes it easy to add new sections - events, products or campaigns - without losing consistency. In addition, we integrated a customized video control system, which is synchronized with the navigation and page transitions, generating an immersive and fluid experience.
On a technical level, we optimize the hosting and caching configuration to ensure stability and speed even in times of high demand.
The design
Inspired by the irreverent and straightforward tone of the program, and working closely with his creative team, we designed a visual system that balances humor and freshness, with a bold and approachable aesthetic. We use a vibrant palette, typography with character and smooth animations that provide dynamism without distracting from the content.
Every detail is designed to convey personality and movement, reinforcing the brand's identity.
The development
The site was developed on WordPress optimized with CSS y JavaScript custom. We created unique circular transition effects and a video playback control system that synchronizes pauses, redirects and animations when changing pages.
The result is a powerful website, visually expressive and fully editable by the client's team, ready to grow with their community.
