Millions of users and soccer fans around the world participate by creating the ideal LaLiga team and can manage the line-ups, the team's game plan, tactics and line-ups until they find their ideal eleven with which they compete to be the best coach.
The challenge
Optimize and develop an application with millions of concurrent users at specific times of the week, giving continuity to the solution active at that moment.
The solution
In order to maintain the continuity of the project and improve it, we have been working on 3 main areas:
- Establish an elastic architecture in AWS to optimize resource utilization according to user concurrency.
- The creation of a new backend to serve the different needs of the business team and at the same time improve the transactional system of the application.
- The development of native applications to improve the user experience, as well as the load on the servers.
The development
A cost optimization strategy was planned and executed based on the creation of an elastic structure in AWS that allowed to adapt to the scalability needs, providing cost savings that allowed the creation of a stable in-house team of backend, frontend and native application developers with total dedication to the project.
The team
16 people divided into 4 teams working on backend, frontend, iOS development and Android development as well as a Product Manager.
24/7 team to provide technical service to the application users.
