Integral platform for the management of donations and distribution of aid through wallet cards.
The challenge
The different social causes - such as the management of donations, point-of-sale campaigns or the distribution of financial aid through cash cards - were managed on independent platforms, with no connection between them.
This fragmentation makes it difficult to coordinate, trace and obtain a unified view of the impact generated.
The solution
Naria centralizes in a single platform the complete management of donations and social aid, allowing to operate in a coordinated way between companies, entities and administrations. For this purpose, the application is divided into the following modules:
- Surplus Module: allows companies and social entities to manage food surpluses through donations, record their traceability and efficiently allocate them to recipient organizations.
- NSSRD (No One Without Their Daily Ration) module: manages and coordinates monetary donations made at points of sale (such as supermarkets) by volunteers with tablets and virtual products as a reference, or online through the web, offering a transparent and simple experience for donors.
- ESF (European Social Fund) module: manages the distribution of financial aid by means of wallet cards, allowing its control, traceability and justification in funded programs.
The development
At Secture we have structured the development in iterative phases, following agile methodologies to validate each module with end users.
It started with the Donations Module as the operational core, followed by the NSSRD (for the digitalization of face-to-face and online campaigns) and finally the ESF, focused on the management of aid with cards.
In each of the modules we have faced different technical challenges, such as becoming an API provider in the Surplus and ESF modules or integrating with different APIs for making payments through physical devices or through web payment gateway in NSSRD.
Likewise, other more classic integrations have also been tackled, such as the integration of data transferred by means of files deposited in an SFTP server, also in the FSE module.
